Freedom's Torch
DA ( / )

Freedom's Torch

The debt we owe,
for freedom to ask
and to answer.
To say yes, or no.

Our responsibility,
vigilance and action,
to defend and support,
to question and judge.

A casual commitment
portends a casual response.
An erosion of purpose,
of vision, of hope.

Our challenge today;
steadfast not stubborn,
engaged not lazy,
committed not passive.

Freedom’s torch,
our course to maintain.
Our compass, our vision,
steadfast remains.
