Friday Morning Ramble

Chasing you a mile a minute,
you set me free,
I set you in it.
And on the bridge from you
to me,
We could have met in the
middle,
but you dissapoint me.
You went and took the
long way around,
and I stood at the edge,
with my eyes to the ground.
You took a vacation, you
went here and there,
and still I stood on the
edge of nowhere.
But then I gave up, and
you woke up,
and I walked the other way,
just as you came,
but I can't meet you no more,
because I don't feel the
same.
