From Galatea...

Poem By smk the observer of emotions

The One with Violet Robes
I'm Galatea, listen to my words
Let my heart have a voice
Let my breast loosen its load.
Don't mislead my speech,
For I will not beseech...
All I have in my heart-
Is the joy of silence,
Its contentment I wish to share.
You made me a stone, I'm obliged
For if You would have given me a voice,
You would have taken me away from life.
My life stays with my Love, Pygmalion;
He, who gave me Shape;
He, who gave me Love;
He, who gave me Life.
O Mighty Aphrodite!
I feel greatly obliged
For You casted me in stone.
