From The Mountain, To The Sea

Poem By Keotoe Wolffange

From the mountain, to the sea,
In Gods eyes I will always be.
To my lord I pray,
That in my heart he will stay.
He answers me from his holy hill,
That I shall do his will.
I lie down and sleep,
Just to leave the dark and deep.
From the mountain, to the sea,
In Gods eyes I will always be.
Day and night I cry what to do,
May my prayers come before you.
You will turn you ears unto my cry,
Then let it be seen in sights eye.
Forever now has my soul been trouble,
I throught than none could have it doubled.
From the mountain, to the sea,
I Gods eyes I will always be.
My life draws nearer to the grave,
I am like the man, who is without strength.
I feel my life, that I can not bear,
Yet I know you always care.
I shall always sing of Gods love,
I raise will raise him up, and far above.
From the mountain, to the sea,
In Gods eyes I will always be.
Rise up oh Judge, of the earth,
From you I had a second birth.
To you, oh Lord, I praise,
You God are that in which we raise.
