Frost Was Right (Inspired By An Ex And Nothing Gold Can Stay)

My dreams with you have been put on hold,
When you started to become so cold.
Our relationship was destined to become sour;
Which explains why I fell in love with happy hour.
Thinking about how our love was so brief;
Alcohol and Tylenol becomes my only relief.
Now not just Frost can say,
Nothing gold can stay.

This will never be me, no matter if you decide to leave, but I would like for you to stay.
