Garden Man

The vampires are from the east
And the wanderers from the west
When I die plant seeds in me
So trees will grow from my chest
I spent my life in silence
As the man who lived in a cave
Dead his whole life
Lonleyness and bitterness
Was all he ever gave
Kicking cans
Through holes in time
And all he ever made
Were arguments and enemies
And this stupid bullshit rhyme

As they say Nick, you reap what you sow. Nevertheless you've made less bullshit and more sense with this poem than you perhaps thought. There is strong metaphor as a central theme here, even if you didn't intend it. And I appreciate that! Rgds, Ivan
