Poem By Miss Fairytale
The gentle darkness takes me,
Pressing whispers to my ears.
The darkness tells me tales of love and sorrow,
It gives me of its woes and wonders
Its yesterdays and tomorrows.
I listen intently
As it recities this practised prose,
Soaring with the choruses.
Sweet darkness kisses me
With blunt lips and sharp tounge-flicks.
Each piece of bruised mind flakes away
As I swallow the black.
Gentle darkness comforts me
Devouring daylight dreams.
It does not tell me lies
I do not give it promises.
Darkness sings to me of hope and horror,
Bringing me to endless philosophy.
