God Shares

Poem By Lillian Joyce Merrill

God shares His beautiful world with me
Leafy green trees down a winding lane
A rippling brook and meadows green
Leaping trout in a rushing stream
Rolling hills and mountains high
Welcoming dusk calls night to descend
Roaring waterfalls and white water rapids
Sparkle through dense trees
Thunder rolls on the evening breeze
Things like these God shares with all
More He gives to those who answer his call
To spread the word o'er land and sea
That soon the time of judgment will be.

Treasures

Melodies of birds so sweet
Flow gently on the air
Childish voices softly speak
And flowers bloom everywhere

Christ's Death

Before you turn your back on Christ Jesus,
Take a good long look at His
Bruised and battered, thus was He
Suffering much for our iniquity.
