Goodbye

Poem By Celeste Boles

Goodbye

you said that
You did that
You made me the way i am today
I'll always hope to god i'll always pray
That things will workout the way i've always dreamed
But i know you're not the way you seamed
So what am i supposed to do
besides just say goodbye
It just feels right i know its time
I guess this is it
always and forever
you tried to be smart
you tried to be clever
but i read right through you
i saw what you were trying to do
Why dont you be honest and tell me what you're trying to prove.
just get out of my way just move
goodbye

Comments about Goodbye

An honest piece, where somebody has reached a decision. Enjoyed. Regards. Craig.

Whispering

The walls are whispering
Attempting to make sure I’m listing
The scars are too deep
The sounds make me weep

Not Sorry

Are you not sorry
Are you not sorry for what you did?
Are you not sorry for what you said?
Are you not sorry for what you put me through?
