Christmas Joy

Oh, what a delight,
To see such a sight,
To experience the shivering cold,

To play in the snow,
To hear the wind blow,
And in one hand a ball I hold.

Snow-angels and snowmen,
Baby Jesus and heaven,
Christmas fills me with glee,

This be my first,
In joy and laughter I burst,
To think a second Christmas I will see.

The only grandparent that I ever knew, was my granny on my Dad's side. She lived with us, and I can recall snippets of memories about her, but she passed away when I was about five. I like this poem Barry...they are wonderful people! Hugs, Dee
