Guilt

The sun has set, there is no moon.
No light shines in, this lonely room.
The walls close in, the last light fades.
The mind begins, to count the days.
Will the ceiling fall, will the walls come down,
Or simply smother, the endless frown.
The silent screams, the raging heart.
The madness rips, the world apart.
And there you are, completely lost.
The sun has set, what was the cost.
