Guilt

Poem By Jordan Jacobs

The noise ringing in my ear
The beat of the drum coming near

The world spins
The noise wins

The heart beat that was nearly a hum
Now beats louder than a drum

The adrenalin rush
The silent hush

Sneaks the silent killer
To destroy the peaceful miller

The evil glee
The killer is me!

Behind A Smile

Alone I cry, hiding it behind a laugh
Alone I remorse, hiding it behind a smile

My loneliness so deep it cuts into my soul

Mourning Mist

The shadow emerging from the morning mist
Raises inside of me a storm
Of anger and sadness
That swirls in me like a tornado

Light...Dark

The light fades to darkness
As I recede into the shadows

There to live. There to die

My Life

My life the Storm
The harsh cold
The unforgiving wind
The thunder that wakes me at night

Sadness

The light fades to darkness
As I recede into the shadows

I sit there remembering…….

The Real Me

Hidden inside of me is
A little boy curled in a ball
Crying
Hiding it behind a laugh
