Unconquered

Wars,
Oh wars!
Where are thou fought?
In between hearts
Or
On solid lands?
Those captured hearts
Of valiant soldiers
Where are they forced?
On a stolid land,
Compassed by hatred
And
Designed by a
Dogmatic approach!

But the powerful
Call it
Patriotism,
A fight for freedom.
Is this what they call
Freedom?
Those red soils
Those wet shirts,
Are all designed
In the name of
Freedom.
In the name of freedom
Who fought,
Are often forgot.

The soil gets mixed
With blood of 'both'
Shining as if a 'red' broth.
Those in power
Force this war.
In the name of
Land, water or religion.
But,
Do they win?

The winds flowing past freely,
The bird's flight in ecstasy.
Are they able to change
But the nature's course?
They might win in land
Or
Might win them 'all'
But
The nature remains
Unconquered
And
Rules on them all.
