Hands And Feet
Poem By Sandra E. Myers
Little hands and little feet, He's crying for His mother
Come to Him and hold Him tight, for there will never be Another.
Growing hands and growing feet, busy working for His Father
Teaching in the temple, telling of the living water.
Working hands and working feet, going to and fro.
Telling others of God's love, of which they did not know
Nail pierced hands and nail pierced feet, blood is pouring down,
The cries of pain and anguish are nowhere to be found
The hands, the feet, the pain He has inside
He's crying out for mercy, mercy for you and I
The hands the feet went willingly to the cross
His cries for mercy not for Himself but only for the lost
So bring your hands in fervent prayer, your feet for his service
Repent of all your sinful ways and make yourself His servant.
So when you meet upon that day and put your hand in His
Your feet will follow in His steps, so Heaven you do not miss.
