Hands Hands Hands'''''''''''''''''

Slimy hands
Dry hands
Wet gross dirty hands
Clean tiny soggy hands
Those are just a few

Hot hands
Smelly hands
Frozen big hard hands
Sweaty bendy moving hands
Fat hands too.

Small hands
Gloved hands
Little cute tired hands
Last of all, best of all,
I like my hands!

Just another poem writen by my 17 year old when he was in grade 2

I'm telling you, Tracey, this and the 'Feet' poem belong in a children's collection somewhere. My son and daughter will love them (when I share them tonight) . Sometimes we adult poets try too darn hard to speak to children, when all they need is a giggle and words that play like they do. Like this!
What a great poem! I would love to see this as a children's book! I can't believe he wrote this in 2nd grade........wow! I was ready to praise this when I thought an adult wrote it but then to see a child so young wrote it....wow! Sincerely, mary
A given ten goes to your young'in when he was but in the second grade. A Nice write for one so young at the time. God bless-Michael Jeffrey Gale.
