Have A Heart

Poem By Vi Lanflagle

She thinks she can push me around
And drag me down.
Well it's not gonna fly
Don't want to let it just pass me by.

But she knows I fear her.
What's she gonna do?
Anything in her power,
Anything she can to...

Break me down
Push me around
Make me cry
Drive to lie.

Don't know why
Is it her pain inside?
Didn't do anything
Maybe it's her never ending jealousy.

Did nothing but live my life;
Not my fault our lives are worlds apart.
I can't see an end in sight,
I just wish she had a heart.

Sonnet #1

Sonnet #1
I’m not quite sure how to write a sonnet
So I’ll start with just a few simple lines.
If I correctly write this sonnet

I really thought you were my friend
But you turned your back on me.

I thought i could trust you

Did You?

Did you really mean everything you said?
Was it all a lie?
Or was it just pretend?

I seem to live
Through my dreams.
My hopes and thoughts
Torn and ripped at the seams

Best Friends

Remember the times we would come inside,
From playing in the snow,
And have big mugs of hot cocoa,
With the really big marshmallows?

Flight to the moon;
Stars close enough just reach out and touch.
I'll catch one
And bring it back just for you.
