First comes the ups, and then comes the downs,
and then goes the head, a-spinning-a-round.
I wish my mind would stop sometimes,
and let in the outside sun that shines.

A New Job

Recently I have been taking a break.
Mostly it's due to my unemployment sake.
My company decided to do away with my job.
I was just 1 of 140,000 poor slobs.

So What If I'M 50

Today I am 50 and all through the house,
I was greeted with smiles from my lovely spouse.
I got some great presents, some kisses and hugs,
some pictures were taken of my drooping mug.
