Hear The Heart

Poem By Bret K. Webster

Wondering, moments of reflection,
Controllable despair, illusory grief.
Stability of time though ever so short,
lends sadness to contentment, learning
how life's summer will end.

Anxiety enters the door and is a constant
companion. Hear the spirits, hear the heart,
time is vanishing. Darkness is near, timeless
and shaped. The end is hazy, clouded by
the unknown. Loneliness is a fight
to bestow.

Memories abound, O' so grand a memory.
The door was shut but opened again, continue
to climb, persist in the struggle, and dream
the dream. Any dream will do.

Splendid Was The Day

A new morning appears, the moment arrives.
Release your imagination on a gifted new horizon. Do not
sell yourself short, take the chance. A new beginning
is at your command.
