Coming Out Of The Falling Snow

coming out of the falling snow
the distant green hills
grow farther away from me
with the passage of time
let us meet halfway
and all who are hiding
ollie ollie oxen free
...our day is at end
.
dreaming of a summer picnic
down by the old fishing hole
...sunlight and laughter
waking up and rolling over
can't think of a thing
at this hour of the morning
just remembering seagulls sailing the sky
swinging and swaying together
like couples
on a dance floor
.
coming out of the falling snow
on a winter day
the white fox
creeping
stalking
from snow bank to snow bank
after the old mouse
scrawny and cold
stiff and old
casting no shadow
.
moon rising in the night
spilling shadows across the bed
and your lovely face
while time passes by
and the winter winds blow chill
I still wait for you
like the swan at dawn
down at the icy lake
...yearning for his mate
I will not yield I will never surrender
.
moonlight riding our sky
my requests
are always very simple
...love me and hold me
let us meet halfway
and all who are hiding
ollie ollie oxen free
...our day is at end
.
.

A great poem.In Sahaja Yoga we honour William Blake and Shree Mataji Nirmala Devi has said many wonderful things about this prophetic artist and poet.In the Occasional Political and Critical Essays by James Joyce there is an essay on William Blake.
