Poem Hunter
Heart Brake
WO (3 february 1995 / lagos)

Heart Brake

Now I stand on the brink of this abyss
And in my heart, wanes the fire of incandescence.
Gone are the days of absolute bliss,
To this pit, all the roads wind in your absence.

Like an overblown flower, colours faded and pale,
Tears tell the sorrowful tale.
And like a mirage blurring away with its false hue
Fades my taintless love for you.
