Heart On My Hand

Poem By Shelbie Krontz

Heart on my hand
so lonely and lost
no other hearts to accompany you.
You cry to the world,
'Look at me! I'm here! I'm real! '
but it comes out no louder than a whisper.
You yell and yell,
feeling frustrated and confused.
You wait for it to end,
the torture of being alone;
until another heart joins you
on the hand of your true love.
