Heartbroken

Poem By Kat Mitchell

My heart grows weary,
Of this relentless onslaught.
I grow weak,
And lose confidence.

Life holds no meaning,
And I'm a broken knoll.
I'm a simple child,
With a haunted past.

With a heavy heart,
I seal away my feelings.
Nevermore will I express
My thoughts with my face.

Moonhigh is here, and so is light
I wish I had stayed with you
For it is you I long for
