Hearts

Poem By Keri Jopplin

Unable to allow for the mistake of vulnerability...
There are no words to convey the sadness that leads my path...
Anger so unsettling that it leaves no chance to be heard...
Carrying in my veins the hopes and failure of thyself...

Snow Whispers

She dances upon snow gone lost in her dreams,
Wiggles turn to giggles as she makes angel wings.
Wishing upon stars under beams of the moon,
She hums her favorite, a lost & forgotton tune;

Storms

Do I dare approach passion with loaded gun?
Hoping to hear your heart, to taste your tongue?

Be fair I say, hearts mercies are tender, unfeigned.

Happy Birthday Momma

I think of you often a hundred times a day,
To the Lord I ask, for my momma I pray;
No more suffering in Heaven you lay,
You would have been older sixty-two today.

Thank You

Thank you for the good times,
And days you fill with pleasure.
Thank you for fond memories;
And for feelings I'll always treasure.

Keri

Sweet dreams and memories of days long gone; .
Remembering my life and loves gone wrong.
I can't go back there's so much to replace,
My dreams become reality that's hard to face.

Cupid's Arrow

You''ve unlocked my heart and kept the key;
I'm unable to breath, unable to flee.
You've showed me love, gave my heart a home
Grateful to you, I'm no longer alone
