Helen Keller

Helen Keller could't see me but she could see god
she saw him in the rolling hills and broad river
with that first water lay upon her lipped fingers
if I could only have seen it, the ripples in your dreams, the water in the air
how did you stay so composed
to wake up and never truly wake
to never speak or hear
to never see and only touch and only feel pain
you would never see life but you lived it beter than us all
