Her Desire Of Darkness

Poem By Dorsey Baker

she was
sexy and appealing naked
and nothing concealing
like a firebug that starts
fires
and its own
emptiness
it inspires
a face that welcomes
its own beauty
in a blindness
it cannot see
a temptation of years
afforded a solemn of tears
