Her Works

Spreads them proudly across her bed
Fills her mind with words, tender
Moistened kisses, sloppy
Good-byes and all the men she
Holds dear to her heart,
Some she loves, some she hates
Others are unworthy and should be
Misplaced—a few changes here
And a rewrite there, a story untold
And still told within somewhere.

I like this one. Perhaps it is the sloppy kisses and the goodbyes, but you have brought her to life disarmingly in this piece about memories and men. Lovely piece. Allie xxxx
