Poem By Racquel Wood

You see her bossing around
Crashing around
This little world

She yells at you
She criticizes you
So you won’t see her

She hides her heart
So no one will break it
She hides her feelings
So no one will reject them
She glares at you
So you won’t see the real her, deep inside

She could be so much more than this
Yet she will refuse, over and over again

What’s worth this broken heart?
What’s worth these feelings?
The feeling of love,
The mended heart
