Holding On For Nothing

They are the callously disgarded people,
Thrown away to the depths of complacency,
Torn from there homes and families comfort,
Tortures in the mind by the melancholy chores,
They will clean for our culture and wash our shoes,
They are supporting a family with the procceds,
Merely of our petty thievery and salvage,
They can see no future for themselves,
And yet they hold on with every sinew in them,
Bravely and honourablythey hold on to nothing.
