Home Again

Home again
- - - - - - - -
To that place
Where it all began
Of my inheritance
My soul seeks to flee
Amid life's bustle
I pause and wonder
In solemn hour all alone
The true home of my soul
Those sweet days have fled
The beauty of misty past
Flitted away so swift and fast
I feel homeward bound again
On a journey set out
To where unknown
Finally brought me here
Where I studied harder
Moving forward
For a career
Laden with dreams ampler
Of money making
Of friends making
Of things and things greater
Reaching a point at the peak
Yet missing the homeward streak
The summer is waning to autumn
Reminding me of my dear home
Of the haunts where I used to roam
Passed houses, fields and clovers
All looked duller
But homes inside happier

Beautiful lines, , , , homes inside happier! ! ! Really, we have always sweet memories of childhood and love to go behind those memories. Loved the way you presented.
Other than my own home I may be in a castle with all plush arrangements or may be in a thatched house with all inconvenience, but home is always sweet with so many remembrances and emotions which can never be compared with others. Home in whatever shape is always a sweet home.
