Hope Is Drunk

hope is drunk
thrown to the curve.
the blood that runs thrue its veins,
is poisoned by sin.
the strengh is lost by lust.
the eyes are dull and confused,
the body is weakend and weightless,
soon to be turned to clay.
hope is no longer drunk.

Very nice. -Leigh
Great way to describe it..........that's why I don't drink! Nice poem. Sincerely, mary
this poem is about a person, family member, who likes to drink and drink a little more, until they fall to the floor..................the good news is she has stoped drinking.....
