Hours In The Day

Poem By Brandy Elger

The hours go by
They seem to fly
They disappear into the night
My decisions need answers
They need them now
My heart dies on
It seems to rot away
Like the hours in the day

Two people in one
One happy, one sad
Two sides of me
One mad and one glad

Letting Go

A certain sense of softness
no tension in the air
she knows that she can’t fight it;
the feeling of despair

A Lonely Little Girl

Lonely little girl so lost in the cold
All the dreams she was born with now were old
But in hindsight I see where she went wrong
struggling and fighting to find where she belonged

Oh god let me out
No one to listen
To hear when you shout
