How To Say Goodbye..

Poem By Christy TownsendCail

Pappy came for you last night,
This I know is true,
For you lain your body on the floor
Positioning yourself just right,
as to not cause pain when the morning left it's dew.

Pappy came for you last night,
we've missed him a great deal,
You I know, oh so much more
for in your eyes, revealed.

Your eyes have not been the same
since pappy went back home,
the Hurt and pain had overwhelmed
which once was blue and warm

I miss you more than anything,
I can't believe your gone,
But set my pain aside, I gladly do,
for it is now pappy that's in your eyes.

Heaven is so lucky
I am so alone
Heaven has my rock
My heart it feels like stone
