Hues And Trees

I sit and I watch, such a beautiful breeze
These colors, these hues
Just looking at trees

When I was a boy
I was given all these
Enthusiastically I viewed all the trees

As life went on, as we all do
I was caught up in time
A vest, a watch, a special type shoe

To better myself and the things I hold true
The colors in the trees, yellows, greens, browns, and blue
I thank a true love, I again may not see
For all of the things that, enlightened me

I’m amazed at what’s happened
I guess god has blessed me
After living for only, half of a century
I can see the simple hues and colors in the tree
Thank god for that love and the colors that he left me
