Humored Unexpectedly

To bait me into a debate,
With a belief I'd get upset...
To be placed into a position,
To defend against an opposition...
Is what I have been taught to expect,
If my choice is to take steps...
Others have neglected to not yet take.

But to choose with a doing of my time to waste,
Has already been done with those less experienced!
And today to be baited into a debate that way,
I would rather just walk away.
Than to allow myself to become either bored or humored.
And God knows I am easily humored unexpectedly,
By those too willing to take their foolishness seriously.
