Hunger

Running through the jungle
Craving wanting needing starving
On the prowl as I hunt
Trying to stop the pain the sting

End of sanity
Hunting for prey they are around
Senses sharp with fury
Sniff each smell hearing every sound

Sharp sound something is near
Watch my back I too am the prey
Feeling jumpy with fear
Quickly down the trail do not stay

A little bird chirps very clear
Need drives me over rock up hills
Having no mercy no fear
Anything booze dope even pills

The streets are my jungle
Snakes rats and wolves
Live and thrive here
