Hurricane

Roaring thunder flashing skies,
vengeful eyes destructive path,
Howling winds distant cries,
Nature calls with all its wrath!

Mass destruction defences battered,
Huge waves earths gust.
Plans crushed prayers unanswered,
Hopes smashed turn to dust!

Endless nights eternal days,
Lightning flash hour of decay,
Waves clash repeated phrase,
Countless voices in dismay!

End is here storm has past,
Another direction moving fast.
Beginning of the end hopeful task
Next destination it stops to ask?

Good form, but are the misspellings intentional and if so, what poetic device do they serve?
