I Am

I am a beautiful woman
internally
externally
eternally
My beauty originates from the
amoebae whose growth was
initiated
stimulated
chemically activated
from some supreme being
so you must understand
my creation was not a mistake

I am
a beautiful
African-American woman
'What is so special about black woman'
Allow me to expound
By virtue of the fact that we exist necessitates
our importance. Our individual characteristics
makes us special. But, it is our 'blackness'
that makes our 'specialness' all the more
beautiful

I am a
beautiful, and
loving
African-American woman
it is my love
that personifies
my utter beauty

My love
transcends all
unconditionally
You can't get
badder
than that

My love
stops
babies from crying
men in wars from dying
keeps scientist trying
birds flying.

There is nothing greater than my love
Except that of of My God, and
she wouldn't have it
any other way

I am a beautiful
loving and proud,
African-American woman
My pride, not vanity
is my self assurance
my reward in a job well
done;
Cool shade
Trees
Vibrant
Flowers
Laughter from
Children
All are demonstrations
of my chest stuck out
with pride

I am beautiful, loving,
proud, and strong
African-American
Woman
I have the strength
to move
mountains
change the
path of
streams
I have the strength to
rebuild nations
eradicate
racism
hedonism
povertyism
homeless-ism

every-ism

I also have the
strength to say
I love you
I am sorry
I was wrong

I have the strength to
live,
laugh,
cry, &
die

I AM A BEAUTIFUL,
LOVING, PROUD, AND
STRONG
AFRICAN-AMERICAN WOMAN
forever breathing
forever growing
forever surviving
forever alive
