I Am An Individual
I am an individual that looks in the mirror and sees a body but not myself.
In a world that forces us into defining bubbles I ready a handful of pins.
I am an individual trapped within 206 bones and 3 layers of skin.
In a word that tears us down into it's image I carry thread; day in and day out I try to reinvent.
I am an individual that hears their own voice and feels nauseous, but yet can't shut up.
In a world that tells us what to be I claw at the walls of a boiling pot.
I am an individual that's definition has been minimized to that of over 1,000 working body parts.
I am an individual that loves those with the same working parts in silence.
In a world that throws us labels and puts us on tracks, I bend off the rails into a new direction
I am an individual that tolerates questioning glances and the obvious covering up of words.
In a world that brands us I feel inconsistent to this reality.
I am an individual that doesn't fit into categories; I am colorful.
In a world that feels all wrong for me I live.
I am an individual that can only be described as a rather complex allegory.
