I Am Waiting

Poem By Gulliver Gimble

I am waiting.
For the right time.
Fifteen seconds of fame.
Fifteen seconds of something.

I am waiting.
Leaning against brick walls.
Looking up at structures.
Frank Loyd Wright lives.

I am waiting.
Cig's in hand.
Smoke trailing by.
Breathing long silence.

I am waiting.
It is soon my time.
This life going crazed.
A fresh mind for years.

I am waiting.
I am waiting.
I am waiting.
For you.

Silent Whispers Upon The Night

Silent whispers upon the night,
hang from stars of silver white.
Cling to dreams of heavy hearts,
wishful words from miles apart.

And She Will Come

Five minutes either way.
Five minutes from love.
Still you wait.
And she will come.

To My Wife Kelly

My dearest Kelly for whom I love.
Joined together in a chapel of doves.
A hot summer sun that surely did swell.
A suit and tie made it hotter than hell.

No Whisper, No Sound.

Look at all the cracks in this wall.
If things don't change, they will sprawl.
You've been given a warning, a simple call.
One more month to watch it fall.

Is This Your Honest Hour?

Do you look and do you see?
All that life offers to me.
Amoung the broken ruins and hammered time.
More so than any other careless crime.

Remind Me

When corners become dark again.
Shadows seem to be my only friend.
Grey clouds find a way home.
Untrained thoughts freely stoned.
