I Dug A Hole On The Floor,

I dug a hole on the floor,
Just to find that there
Was nothing underneath the
Ground I stepped on.

I leaped at the ceiling
Just to find that there
Was nothing above
The sky I saw.

I broke through the walls
Just to find that there
Was nothing next to
The room I called my own.

When there was no more
place to go, no more barriers to break:

I stripped down to the bone,
By patiently ripping the skin
And tearing the muscle,
Just to find that there
Was nothing, no soul
Inside this body I owned.

i like the way you express so much despair and depression in the things around you, like the room you sleep in night after night, it feels foreign. As well as the whole world surrounding you is unknown. Even to the point of onesself. kudos.
