I Had A Dream
I had a dream the other day, that I could change the world.
by Patricia McAteer
I'd give all men dignity equality for all.
To the far east I'd give priority and I'd sow the land with wheat,
Abandon all forms of torture and give the people peace.
The lonely need some comfort, I'd visit them each day.
Console them in their troubles, give them a brighter day.
To the blind I'd sing a melody, and to the deaf I'd bring some cheer,
I'd abandon all abortions, and let Gods children live.
I'd drive hatred from all men's hearts, Put love and kindness there,
Then there would be a better world, Where people all would care.
