I have brought the sacrificial goat

I have brought the sacrificial goat
To the heap of grass, leaves and bark

He has forgotten his last beheading
But round his neck garland-like
hangs a mark

Thought provoking poem. The hidden message helps us view the positive and bright side of the system. Thanks for sharing this poem with us. Chandan
None but the poor animal knows it how the knife goes over it, how painful the beheading is! The goat's life, how painful is it?
A nice poem indeed. How long can a goat can escape from being sacrificed? Congrats on being chosen member poem of the day.
