I Have Never Asked You

Poem By Mira Ilic

I have never asked you:
Did I meet you before?
I know I did.

Glance at your shadow -
so innocent
and so true
shape of your dreams
pices of your broken dreams

Run now, as fast as you can
as far as you can
Run and never, never come back
You will understand -
I remained one more time
On the lonely edge of your soul

I dream about your future lifes
Hear your steps in a dazzling morning
Feel your laughing in my heart

I have never asked you:
Did you meet me before?
I know you didnt.

Who knows who we have met in previous lives? Maybe the next friend you make, helped you from a different lifetime.

A cigarette in an ashtray
A stain on a ceiling

There are always words
which meaning is boring to my ears

The wall in front of me colored white
