I Live I Die

Poem By Carolyn Sears

Live, I Die
By: Carolyn Sears
I live, I die Into a world
Of maddness I cry;
I'm haunted by death that
Seeks me;
The essence of life cease as
If I never existed~
I'm just a mere memory of this

My fate is of the animal that
Is slaughter to feed the body
From hungry~
Death finally kiss my lips
To seal and steal the breath
Of life~
To cover my body In the cold
Black earth;

My voice Is silence, my body Is
Rigid and cold~
My eyes are close to eternal darkness;
Death do haunt me~
I live, I die
