I Love You

Poem By craig smith

eight characters
two white spaces
but man
are they powerful

tingling fingers
the words short
take hours, to type

nervous energy runs
from my deepest emotion

always I see
always I want
always in front of me

I want to scream
I am fighting
fighting my fears, living in my head

these three words let me escape

Bravo Craig! An awesome poem, so very well executed, a delight to read indeed! ! *10*! Best regards, Friend Thad
Yea. That's about right. And very, very well said in a short and concise way. This is a 9 for sure. It might have been a 10 but the impact would have to have more staggering content. That's hard to imagine, but this thing has been done before and it is as hard as hell to achieve. As it is, it can't be resisted. GW62

adrift I am
flowing through the emptiness

time does not wait
endless path on which I stand

what do they want

My Words To You

never need to be
should I try to be
free to be

stepping over myself
I walk away
never ending pain controlled me
