I'M Blessed

no matter what you do to me
you cannot change my destiny
i’m blessed

no matter what you are thinking
a castle must behold a king
i’m blessed

no matter what you try to see
you can’t ignore this part of me
i’m blessed, blessed, blessed

throw my pride to the world outside
i know it’s not in vain, we can all beat off the rain
but when i’m safe at home
that's when i know i’m not alone
for your naked scent still upon my bed

so i make a note of all the times
i had to stop and watch you, smile your smile,
just for a while

in torment, love can right
all of the wrong inside
when you go deeper in
you can meet your brethren
you can embrace the night, with your faith in satellite

and i take a loving bow toward
the wonder and the joy of your bouquet
just for the day
i call my guide, attend my side
for with this winters pain i’ll start again
just like the rain.
