I Met A Friend

I met a friend of mine one day
who came up to me and said,
"You're looking mighty good today,
except for your funny head.
Your nose is too long, your ears are on wrong,
your mouth has a crooked smile,
your eyes are so crossed, when you look at me,
you miss me by as mile."
I listened to all those things he said,
and smiled, as if things were fine,
then I said to my friend "One more word,
and your head will be just like mine!"
