I Miss Him Less

Poem By moon batchelder

i miss him less
on sunny days
when blessing of another form
of light and warmth
have touched this flesh
revealing other
anxiousness.

i miss him less
on full moon nights
impressed by her consuming stars
(while dancing far
and near.) - entranced
as magick's visions
coalesce.

i miss him least
of all i guess
when beast that he behaved at times
is suddenly
remembered tho
the crimes have long since
ceased to be.

i miss him most
those moments when
the holy ghost of passion burns
and fastens mind
unkindly to the past
and thread bare
memory.
