I Need It

I need a couple of dollars or so
To take my girl to the picture show
I need a Rolls Royce painted brown
My girlfriend can use it to drive downtown
I need a mink coat made of fashionable fur
So on her birthday I can give it to her
I need it! I need it! I need it!

I need a Harley Davidson and boots of leather
And a leather jacket for all kinds of weather
My girlfriend can sit on a seat in the back
Like a fancy two wheel Cadillac
I need it! I need it! I need it!

I need britches with fancy stitches
To wear to the fancy ball
And a fancy shirt that never itches
A beautiful brunette 5 foot 6 inches tall
I need a bow tie to wear to the dance
I need some shoes I need some pants
I need it! I need it! I need it!

I need a Rolax watch made of pure gold
And all of the silver that my pockets will hold
I need a barrel to roll down a hill
And twelve more barrels so I can fill
Fill those barrels with million of bucks
I need all that cash I'm down on my luck
I need it! I need it! I need it!

I need voice lessons so I can sing
I need a guitar to pluck the strings
I need caviar and a bottle of champagne
A baked potato with chives and sour cream
And a side dish of fancy turnip greens
I need it! I need it! I need it!

I need coffee I need tea
I need to sail across the sea
I need a table I need a chair
I need to go to the county fair
I need to finish this poem pretty quick
Before my friends start throwing sticks
I need it! I need it! I need it!
