I Panicked

Poem By Uloia Norris Moore

The worst thing I could do
loose my mind to
much time.

Others told me
wisdom left me
reason fled me

Afraid for all the
wrong things
never treason
end of season

Drafted high for lack
of striking first.

Thinking all would be well
the curse of letting others
determine my course.

Stupid thing may still get worse
ten thousand feet high
with broken wing
altered course.

Can I land intact or let
aforesaid mentioned
so come to pass.

Disdain do I
such path.
